Our Canasta
It is healthy, why

It is a vegetable rich in fibres. It is also famous for its diuretic properties, due to a beneficial ratio potassium/sodium.


Canasta lettuce
with meat balls




200 g minced meat
50 g grated bread
1 Canasta lettuce
5 datterini tomatoes
8 small artichokes in oil
4 slices of bread


2 tsp parmesan cheese
1 egg
1 tsp sweet paprika
salt and pepper
soy sauce




Prepare little meat balls with meat, grated bread, parmesan cheese, 1 egg, salt and pepper. Put a drizzle of oil into a pan, wait until it is heated and let your little balls get brown, then remove them from fire and keep them warm. In the same oil let diced bread get brown: in this way it will become crunchy and really tasty!


In the meanwhile wash vegetables and start laying the Canasta leaves, the chopped date tomatoes and little artichokes cut into halves on a serving dish. Add the little meat balls, bread and a little soy sauce and serve soon.
